Fokus dan Scope


The Journal of Nusantara Education (JPI) publishes original research articles, classroom-based studies, and literature reviews from all fields of study taught in educational institutions. This journal serves as an open platform for teachers, lecturers, practitioners, and researchers from various educational environments, including madrasahs, public schools, Islamic boarding schools, and non-formal institutions, to share best practices, pedagogical innovations, subject-specific knowledge, and interdisciplinary educational research. We welcome contributions that enrich teaching and learning in various educational contexts, covering a broad spectrum of disciplines and methodologies.

Scope  
JPI accepts manuscripts on, but not limited to, the following topics and fields of study:  

Religious and Islamic Studies: Research and innovation in religious education, values integration, and character development across various subjects.  

Humanities and Social Sciences: Studies in history, sociology, citizenship, arts, geography, economics, and related fields.

Mathematics & Science: Pedagogical strategies, curriculum development, classroom-based research, and innovation in mathematics and science education.  

Language, Linguistics, Educational Communication & Media: Innovation in language teaching and learning (Indonesian, Arabic, English, local languages), linguistics, media literacy, and communication in education.

Educational Technology & Digital Learning: The use and impact of technology, online learning, digital resources, and media in the learning process.  

Classroom Action Research: Practical research and innovation conducted by teachers, lecturers, or education practitioners in any field or environment to improve learning outcomes in the classroom or institution.

Curriculum & Assessment: Design, development, implementation, and evaluation of curricula and assessment methods for all levels and types of educational institutions.  

Educational Administration, School/Educational Management & Policy: Studies on educational leadership, educational policy, financing, and institutional development.

Learning Environment & Community Participation: Research on school climate, educational culture, parent and community involvement, and their impact on educational success.

Other Educational Topics: Research or reflective articles relevant to the improvement and development of education and teaching practices, including interdisciplinary and emerging issues.

The Editorial Board invites submissions of manuscripts that employ solid, impactful, and relevant scientific methods for educators, researchers, and practitioners at the local, national, and international levels. Each manuscript must present a clear research problem or focus, a comprehensive literature review, and meaningful implications for the field of education at large.
