In an effort to enhance national development, regions are granted the authority to manage their areas by exploring existing potential to be used as a source of regional finance. The city of Sabang is an area with tourism potential and bright prospects for development, particularly for increasing the city's local revenue (PAD). In general, the development of the tourism sector includes economic growth through the creation of jobs, the development of industries that support tourism activities, and the trade of goods and services in order to improve the wellbeing of the community. This study was conducted to examine community wellbeing as an output of increased Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) from the tourism sector in Sabang City. Using a qualitative approach, field data was obtained through interviews with stakeholders regarding the research object and through observation at research locations in tourist areas of Sabang City. The results of the study prove that managing tourism potential through optimal service mechanisms can increase the number of tourist visits, which contributes to an increase in Local Own-Source Revenue, which in turn has an impact on the development of the real sector, which also leads to an increase in community income through the creation of more jobs, thereby creating wellbeing in social life.
