Education in Elementary Schools (SD) plays a crucial role in shaping the foundational knowledge and character of children, which will influence their future development. At this stage, children not only acquire basic academic skills but also begin to develop essential social and emotional abilities for their lives. The aim of this research is to identify the role of parents in supporting children's education at the elementary school level, as well as to address the challenges that may be encountered in the process. The method employed is library research, analyzing literature published between 2019 and 2024 related to parental involvement in children's education. The research findings indicate that parental involvement significantly influences children's academic performance, especially in creating regular study routines, providing emotional support, and creating a conducive learning environment. Additionally, challenges such as lack of time, limited parental knowledge, and differences in values between parents and schools can reduce the effectiveness of parental support for children's education. In conclusion, despite the various challenges, the role of parents in children's education remains essential and can be optimized with proper support from schools and society.
